Wiring info:
PLEASE REFER TO YOUR GUITAR / BASS WIRING DIAGRAM. THIS INFO IS JUST FOR ASSISTANCE.
Please be careful when soldering any closed barrel type socket like this that you do not overheat the terminals.
I do not accept any responsibility for errors and damage caused to your instrument.

The shorter lug/ terminal on the socket is your “hot” connection which when you plugin a cable would connect to the “tip” of a jack lead. This short lugusually get’s connected to a white or red coloured wire that would havethe other end connected to the middle lug of a volume pot.
The middle lug(next longest) is for the stereo connection which if used with a stereocable would connect to the “ring” of the plug. This lug would usuallyget connected to a black wire coming from a battery. For mono / nonactive guitars (ie without a battery) leave this terminal un-connected.
Finally, the longest lug is your earth connector which would connect through to the body of your guitar cable. This longest lug usually get’s connected to an earth / braided wire that wouldhave the other end connected to the body of a volume pot.
