24th November 2021 UPDATE…
Message from Chris, MD Guitar Mania Ltd:
“Thought it about time to give everyone an update on the situation here. It’s pretty much business as normal now.
We are making no formal request for our customers to wear face covering but it certainly helps to prevent the spread of Covid-19 (and general colds and flu) if you continue to wear face coverings.
We do ask that you use our hand sanitiser when entering the shop.
All pretty standard common sense stuff so we thank you for your co-operation and look forward to welcoming you in the store soon.”

Message from Chris, Guitar Mania Ltd:
“We’re NOW OPEN ! So pleased to be able to announce that the showroom is now open for business, some restrictions still apply, as does a lot of common sense, but generally we’re open and looking forward to seeing you.”
Here is a summary of these measures:
OPENING HOURS – 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
MAXIMUM OF 4 CUSTOMERS –
Again, sadly, this isn’t ideal. We want coming to Guitar Mania to be a fun, enjoyable experience, however these are difficult times and we must act responsibly for everyone’s safety. Therefore, we feel it appropriate to limit the number of customers in store to a maximum of 4 at any one time. That’s one party of 3 people plus 1 other separate individual. We just don’t have the staff to safely cover a higher number than that. It’s also a lot to do with security too so this helps us manage our stock, staff safety and saftey of our customers.
NO UNATTENDED UNDER 16’s
We have always welcomed everyone of every age however at the moment we have to implement this age restriction so we can manage staff, customers and the stock as safely as possible.
NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED
There’s absolutely no need to book an appointment, just turn up! In the unlikely event that we have too many customers in then please just wait outside. Just like most other shops we operate a ‘one-in-one-out policy’. Apolohies for any inconvenience.
As a courtesy to other customers it would be worth considering limiting your visit to say, 30 minutes
STAFF PROTECTION –
Customers are kindly requested to wear a face mask.
When you visit Guitar Mania we will be wearing a face mask or some other form of protection too. Please do not be put off by this, as it’s for your safety.
When you visit you will also notice there are floor markings, some of which are around the Point of Sale area, please observe these markings.
We have also erected a perspex / acrylic transparent screen around the Point of Sale area.
ENTRY SYSTEM –
To help control and limit the number of customers in store at any time we will be operating a ‘one in – one out’ system.
Most of the time when you arrive the door will be unlocked so just come on in, however if we are “full” then the door may be locked. Please just knock and we will come and greet you as soon as we can and if possible let you in.
PLEASE WEAR A MASK !!!!!
When you come into the shop you will be offered hand sanitiser.
All the surfaces and handles that you are likely to come into contact with are cleaned with a sanitising solution at either ½ hour or one hour intervals depending on how busy we have been.
STOCK
All of the instruments here at Guitar Mania have been cleaned and sterilised. The way we do this is to clean and polish in line with manufacturers recommendation and then we wipe them down with an alcohol soaked cloth or alcohol wipe.
After any instrument has been touched or played a member of staff will remove it from display and put it in our workshop ready to be sterilised again.
CUSTOMERS IN STORE..
Firstly please observe the 2 metre social distancing protocol.
It is bizarre that we have to have a policy on this but it appears to be necessary…
Please try your best to NOT TOUCH any instrument or surfaces unnecessarily or at least please try to LIMIT the amount you touch things. Obviously we want you to try out instruments so here’s how way we do it:
You choose an instrument.
Sanitise your hands.
Play it / Enjoy it !
After you have tried it hand it to a member of staff who will take it off to be sterilised / cleaned.
If you cough or sneeze in our store please don’t be offended if we then offer you a tissue. Please use it and dispose of it as requested and please then use the hand gel offered again.
CREDIT CARD MACHINE:
This will be cleaned after every use. We wipe the keypad down with alcohol after every customer. Wherever possible we would encourage you to use contactless.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
