This a 100% brand new item, 100% Genuine UK Made Celestion speaker.
Can be used in a variety of amplifier combo’s and speaker cabinets.

NOTE: This is a BRAND NEW speaker, not ‘B’ stock, or ex demo or used. HOWEVER, due to the manufacturing and testing process there appears to be some signs of mounting around the mounting holes, probably where they mount them to test them? Rest assured all the speakers we sell, and we’ve sold a lot, all have these marks to some extent.

VERY IMPORTANT – Please ensure you make note of the “Ohms” of your speaker or amp specification – This is an 16 Ohm speaker and should only be used to replace a similar 16 Ohm speaker. It is not adviseable to use this speaker if replacing it for a 8 Ohm speaker or a 4 Ohm one.

Of course there are several exceptions and instances where you can swap a 16 Ohm for an 8 Ohm but I just wanted to make sure you check before you replace it out to avoid potential damage.

As we buy in bulk the speaker will be shipped securely in a non specific cardboard box with plenty of packaging.

The G12M Greenback has evolved over the decades but still retains its essential, sought- after tone. Angus Young has been a Greenback devotee since the early days of AC/DC. This model is voiced with additional broad mid-range attack and restrained top-end to give a forward, punchy attitude to chords and a searing lead tone without fizz. With its well-controlled low end it can be used singly in low-powered amps, or in multiples for high-power rock heads.
