“So here’s the new (launched July 2024) Player II series. Still Made in Mexico but seem to be even better quality than before. They just FEEL better, probably because of the rolled edges on the fretboard. They are a great way to own a ‘real’ Fender without paying big bucks. It’s a genuine Fender design, made in a Fender factory in Mexico. Straight out of the box from the factory they do require quite a bit of setting up, so just beware when buying online, you definitely want to try THE one you buy before you buy it, not one just like it. Obviously here at Guitar Mania we check, test and set up every Fender Player guitar before we put it up for sale so rest assured you’re getting a great guitar! This particular model features a Rosewood neck (RW), although they really mean Rosewood FRETBOARD, which is a nice improvement on the old Player Pau Ferro fretboards which can look a little pale and faded by comparison to Rosewood. This marvelous Tele is in striking polar white. A great guitar suitable for time honoured, tried and tested variety of styles from rock n rock to rock.”
