“Right then, if you want an EXACT FIT then just pay the ££££ and go for the proper Fender one. This one will very likely require a small amount of filing / sanding, and patience is the key. I have fitted this to a few jazz basses eg

Squier Classic Vibe Jazz Bass
And several others I can’t remember. They ALL required a bit of light sanding. This is best done at the NECK POCKET end of the scratch plate. Took me about 5-7 minutes and a circle of sanding / fitting / sanding / fitting until I was happy. NO RETURNS if you attempt fitting and get it wrong – no-one wants to buy a used pickguard that’s been botched ;o)”
