Summary:
Here we have here in stock in our showroom in Parkstone a super rare PRS Custom 22 “Dirty Dozen” from 2011! This one is number 7 of just 12 made (#7/12). The guitar is finished in Blue/Green ( great name I know!) we originally supplied this guitar to its one owner, it was pride of the collection and has been gigged all over the world. Has had the tremolo arm chopped down by the last owner. It’s a standard fit so if you wanted a normal length arm any current standard USA made PRS trem arm will fit.

Body Condition: 8/10 – The body of the guitar is in good condition, very tidy looking from a few feet away but keep in mind this is no case queen, this was a gigging guitar for an arena touring session player. The body is covered in dings and bumps, all purely cosmetic mind and mostly on the rear and edges. No breaks or cracks to report, everything is in perfect working order for the next owner. Please also see pictures for a bit of lacquer blow on the lower horn, this has been fairly common on PRS Guitars.

Neck: 7/10 – Some noticeable wear to the frets, but life left in them – see pics.
The Ebony fingerboard is a wonderful bit of wood and adds a wonderful snappy response to the guitar. The back of the neck is in good condition and the no scuffs that impact the playing experience to report. The back of the headstock is signed by PRS and numbered 7/12. Please see pictures as there are some dings and scuffs in the back of the headstock.

Hardware: 8/10 – All original hardware, tarnishing on the machine heads and bridge. The pickup covers are very cool for PRS in Burnt Chrome. The trem arm is included but has been cut down, Gilmour style! A new one can be supplied.

Electrics: 8/10
Sockets, pots and switches etc are wear and tear items. The electrics on this guitar have been tested and are in excellent working order, but my standard disclaimer is it’s a used guitar and one must expect SOME occasional electrical ‘scratching’ noise, crackling and popping when adjusting pots and switches. In our opinion the electrics on this guitar exhibit less than average ‘noise’ in normal play but there’s no guarantee how long they will stay in this condition.

Playability:
This guitar has been lovingly set up by Jon, one of the UK’s most highly regarded and experienced guitar techs.
That doesn’t mean this guitar is the best playing guitar ever, it just means that he has taken the time to set it up. Adjust the action, intonation etc so that it plays as well as can be expected and stays in tune as good as any guitar of this type does.
We all have differing styles and demands from our instruments. Some of us like fast n low actions for fretboard burning licks, others prefer a high n mightly action for show stopping windmills and downtuned heavy riffing and everything in between. No one set up suits all!
