Chris (the M.D) says:
Probably the lightest guitar you will find of this style!!
I just love this guitar! It’s one of those really cool examples of a ‘cheap’ guitar that just has that certain something. Probably not too dissimilar in price.
I didn’t bother researching the brand too much but feel free to offer whatever info you want. A quick glance mentions these started off as a Japanese company but I am pretty sure this guitar was made in China, but possibly Korea.
At this price, personally, I’d just take it at face value – a GREAT lightweight guitar for the money.

Condition: 7/10 – very good condition. There’s a few major and minor dents and scratches here and there, but overall it still looks pretty tidy. I photographed the main bumps and bashes, see photo’s. The worst ones are: There is a large chip on the front at the bottom and an impact dent on the lower bottom edge.

Fret wear – original frets, slightly worn in places with some slight visible dimples, very slight. Doesn’t really imapct on the playing.
Fingerboard – pretty clean, nothing major to report. Some signs of wear.
Electrics have been tested and all the pots and switches are in reasonable working order, although on any used guitar one must expect a bit of crackle now and then.
This is one of the lightest guitars of this style I have EVER played.
Sounds great too, really bright 50’s rock n roll tone particularly suitable for play The Shadows or Buddy Holly style rock n roll.

Supplied WITHOUT hard case

Playability.: This guitar plays pretty well for the asking price. It doesn’t have the same feel as a Fender Custom Shop costing ¬£3000 but when you look at the two side by side it’s all just wood and wire and in the hands of a pro it will give ANY guitar a good run for it’s money.
We have put a new set of Fender 9-42 gauge strings on and set the guitar up to a reasonable standard. It has a comfortable but not too low action, certainly not high or uncomfortable – it’s just right for type.
