USED Ibanez 2355M vintage old 70’s semi acoustic jazz electric guitar

Here we have a wonderfully rare guitar.
Estimated at early to mid 70’s.
Supplied with a hard case, it’s old, there’s a possibility it’s the original hard case – see pics.

Guitar Condition summary 9/10 excellent condition.
The best thing is the overall condition is truly excellent, the hardware looks only a couple of years old! The body very tidy from the front and rear.

Condition detail:
The guitar has a couple of extremely small dents and minuscule scratches here and there. None are real noteworthy.

Frets are worn down and have been fret dressed. There’s life left in them but these are some flat n low frets.
One could say it’s about right for a well used vintage instrument, typical of many a Gibson LP from the 70’s.
Rear of neck is clean with no noticeable dents. No breaks.
Rosewood fretboard is in good condition with little or no signs of wear apart from the frets.
The chrome hardware is in excellent condition. Not much sign of any tarnishing which is quite remarkable.
Machines are in good condition and working well.

In the upper ‘F hole’ is a number: #31341 possibly a serial number

The guitar weighs 9.9lb so it’s not the lightest guitar however it is certainly not the heaviest! We’ve had some 70s Les Pauls in weighing 12lb +!

The guitar comes with a non original hardcase in good condition.

Well, again, it’s all in good condition. One must expect some pot scratchyness and the odd crackle but this is really minimal.

Playability – like all guitars here at Guitar Mania this guitar has been set up by our legendary Jon our in-house tech and we can confirm that the action and intonation has been checked and adjusted and has brand new D’addario 11-50 flatwound strings. It currently has a pretty low action which is how we like it.
