Decoding the title:
PRS – Paul Reed Smith, the manufacturer
S2 Standard – less ‘fussy’ range from PRS, but this is the top of the S2 range.
Sunburst – This is the colour.
Pattern Regular Neck – that’s just what PRS call this specific shape of the neck, quite a ‘fat’ feel like a LP.
# 52015479 – is just the serial number which helps us identify your exact guitar
Current new price around £1499.00

Summary (Chris says..):
This model was discontinued in 2017
So this is the S2 Standard which is a glossy version of the cheaper less attractive S2 Satin. Featuring a subtle falmed maple top.
Supplied with PRS Gig Bag, they did not come with a hard case.

Body – front is in excellent condition. Up close you can see some slight signs of wear and tear, really minor scratches that are fairly insignificant in my opinion. No chips or dents.
The rear is like a mirror – I tried to photograph it but gave up. You can see me giving the ‘thumbs up’, all I could do was photograph my reflection lol It does have some noticeable, but very light surface scratches. No dents or chips.
Frets – tiny / minimal signs of wear, if any.
Fretboard – excellent condition, tiny / minimal signs of wear if any.
Back of neck – clean, no dents.
Headstock – clean, no breaks.

Playability – this guitar has been set up with a brand new set of 10-46 guage strings. The action and intonation is pretty good. The tone and sustain is as would expect from these superb guitars. Fantastic value and playability.

Being 100% honest I personally think PRS are excellent value. Every single aspect of this guitar seems to have been precision engineered and well thought out right down to the screws that hold the back plate in. We love servicing these guitars too because they are such a joy to work on. Truly solidly built to last (My personal guitar is a PRS Custom 22 from 2005 and it still feels like new). Tone is rich, yet powerful with bags of sustain. Tuning stability is great and by great I mean way better than other mahogany bodied USA made guitars! The 3 way switch gives you instant access to a wealth of tone – from classic funky American single coil tones, to classic American fat seering humbucking tones. The tone pots have push-pull coil tapping.
Every single member of Guitar Mania currently has at least one PRS guitar, some have several. Just about every member of staff that has ever worked at Guitar Mania has owned a PRS too – as soon as you play one you’ll want one, and there’s so many at so many diferent price points that we’re sure there’s one that will suit you.
