Dark rish rosewood fingerboard combined with a classic 3 tone sunburst is the most Stratty of strats ! I rate these higher than the American Performer because in many ways these are better in MY opinion. The feel, vibe, tone – Fender have got it right with this one. Better than the Standard and Player II series and cheaper than the American Performer and Pro. Ticks all the boxes. AND don’t forget that unlike MOST shops, our in-house guitar god Jon inspects, sets up and tests ALL of these guitars before they go on display. We service / set up / reject the ones that have a buzz in the nut, fret rattle, high action etc etc and in MY own personal opinion (legal statement) the ones that are beyond a set up that play awful we reject and they then get shipped out to the shops that discount to buyers that don’t care.”
