Effects Pedals
On this website is less than 1/2 the pedals we actually have in stock. Last time we counted we had around 120 different pedals. That excludes multi effects !
Help choosing a pedal:
Many amps have effects built in these days so you may be told that you don't 'need' any more effects. "NEED" ? You don't exactly 'need' a guitar in the grand scheme of existance huh ? It's all about 'want' and boy us guitarists want and want and want ! But when it comes to choosing pedals it really is difficult. If in doubt go for Boss. Treat them as the standard and then other pedals are better (and usually more expensive) or not as good (and usually cheaper). Then you have 'boutique' pedals (Xotic, Rothwell, Lovepedal, Wampler, Fulltone, Providence etc etc see our Used Effects Pedal section) that are very individual sounding. Designed to make you sound like...well YOU ! They are usually more expensive. Then there's cheeky little pedals like the new MOOER range that offer excellent quality and value but have yet to make a name for themselves. Marshall pedals are also worth checking out. At least you can rest assured that if WE sell it here at Guitar Mania, we've had a go on them and like them enough to stock them.
