"Hello, I'm Chris and here I am with my prized possession; my Fender American Standard Precision Bass (P Bass). It's quite old now, 1974 I think and yes, that's not the original colour, it has been resprayed to a very bright graffiti yellow. I have been gigging this bass off and on for over 10 years, my main instrument is guitar, but sometimes if a gig presents itself I just love the opportunity to sit back and grooooove. I'm not a funky slap bassist so my needs are simple, and there's none more simple than a P Bass: no fuss, no bother just a great look, sound and feel.
Being a company man, and I apologise if it sounds like a bumper sticker, but... my other bass is an Ibanez. That one is active so I keep that for when I do need a little more punch."
